Senses and reports, automatically

Captures gases and ultrafine particles
The HEPA filter captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. A layer of activated carbon also removes odours and gases including VOCs.²

Dyson refurbished machines are different. Each machine has passed a detailed inspection and hundreds of tests, to meet the same standards as a new machine. Units may have some minor cosmetic blemishes that do not affect functionality. So when Dyson say they're 'like new', they mean it.
